The William S. Dietrich II Economic Theory Center
Princeton University is an Ivy League university with world-renowned undergraduate and doctoral programs, resulting in 26 faculty and 17 alumni recipients of the Nobel Prize.
Princeton’s Economic Theory Center, established in 2008, was renamed to honor William S. Dietrich II, a 1960 graduate. Annual distributions from The Dietrich Foundation support faculty research, seminars, fellowships, and symposia to gather economists, political scientists, and other scholars to address economic theory issues. Funds from the Foundation also support Princeton’s commitment to need-blind admission to attract and retain outstanding students of diversity, among other mission-related initiatives.
