Innovative Technology Programs

Founded in 1895 by Andrew Carnegie, The Carnegie Institute serves over 1.47 million people a year through its four pillar museums of the Pittsburgh community: Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, Carnegie Science Center and The Andy Warhol Museum. Annual distributions from The Dietrich Foundation support, among other things, innovative technology initiatives to provide digitally sophisticated, accessible, and engaging programs that meet our community’s needs – now and in the future.
